Suez Canal Bank Signs Cooperation Protocol with Misr El Kheir Foundation to Support the “Iftar Sa’em” Campaign

Suez Canal Bank has signed a cooperation protocol with Misr El Kheir Foundation under the auspices of the Central Bank, to participate in supporting the “Iftar Sa’em” campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative includes providing more than 2,000 food boxes containing essential food items, helping support underprivileged families and meet their nutritional needs across several governorates.

The protocol was signed by Nour El-Zeiny, Head of Financial Inclusion, Corporate Communication, and Corporate Social Responsibility at Suez Canal Bank, and Engineer Amal Mobdda , Executive Director of Resource Development, Marketing, and Public Relations at Misr El Kheir Foundation, in the presence of several representatives from both parties.

In this context, Nour El-Zeiny affirmed that Suez Canal Bank is keen to expand its contributions to social protection programs and strengthen food security, in line with the directions of the Central Bank of Egypt and in support of the second Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 2): Zero Hunger and Food Security.

El-Zeiny added that the bank places great importance on partnerships with civil society organizations that have developmental impact, which helps achieve a positive effect within the community and strengthens efforts toward social solidarity.

She also explained that this cooperation comes as an extension of Suez Canal Bank’s ongoing efforts in corporate social responsibility, noting that the bank has participated in Ramadan food box distribution initiatives in cooperation with civil society organizations for the ninth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting vulnerable families and promoting a culture of solidarity and volunteerism.

For her part, Engineer Amal Mobadda pointed out that such initiatives represent a successful model of cooperation between the banking sector and civil society organizations in supporting community development efforts and strengthening the social protection umbrella, contributing to achieving a sustainable impact that reaches the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
